The Czech NGO Fund supported 91 projects of the Czech NGOs in a total value of 139 450 815 CZK/5 623 016 EUR under the 1st Call for Proposals.

Selection Committees of the 4 priority areas of the NGO Fund in the Czech Republic convened between 26 May and 19 June, 2014 to make decisions about the applications submitted to the 1st Call that was closed on the 24th of March, 2014. Of the record number of 457 applications received 408 passed the formal and administrative screening and were scored and evaluated by at least two external, independent experts according to the criteria published in the Call for proposals.

Fund for Bilateral Relations at programme level  

Strengthening of bilateral cooperation between the Czech NGOs and entities from Norway,  Iceland and Liechtenstein (Donor States) is also one of the main priorities of the NGO Fund.

Additional grants (Measure “b”) as an additional source of funding for facilitating bilateral partnerships between Czech NGOs which received a grant for thematic project and entities from Donor States and used for networking, exchange, sharing and transfer of knowledge, technology, experience and promotion of best practices, including conferences and study tours.

The total of 6 applications for additional grants were supported under the 1st Call in a value of 1 004 760 CZK/40 514 EUR
